17/09/2013 - "oriGIn France" has been launched in Paris

On September 17, 2013 the French section of oriGIn "oriGIn France" has been launched at the French Ministry of Agriculture in Paris.

oriGIn France has the objective to gather the French Geographical Indications (GIs) helping them to develop common strategies as well as to support the action of oriGIn to promote and defend GIs worldwide. The founding members are the Conseil National des Appellations d'Origine Laitières (CNAOL), Syndicat du Pruneau d’Agen et the Organisme de défense (ODG) Foie gras du Sud-Ouest.
