On 27 May, the official inauguration of the oriGIn Latin America Office took place in Guadalajara. The office is hosted by the Tequila Regulatory Council (CRT).

The inauguration was held in the framework of the Annual Meeting of Directors of Intellectual Property Offices of Latin America, co-organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI). See the programme.
