Dear all,

2019 has been an amazing year for oriGIn and GIs: the conclusion of, and accession to, several international treaties concerning GIs (in particular to the Geneva Act of the Lisbon Agreement, which will enter into force in February next year), our Biannual meeting in Tbilisi and our growing involvement in the crucial debate concerning sustainability.
