#Webinars #GlobalAgenda #GIs #TMs: Online event on trademarks (TMs) applications in conflict with Geographical Indications (GIs)
In the framework of our series of webinars “the oriGIn International GIs agenda”, a fifth online event will be held on 23 March, from 16h00 to 17h30 (CET) - 9h00 to 10h30 (PET).
The webinar, organized in cooperation with the Peru National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property (INDECOPI), will look from a practical perspective at issues of TMs applications in conflict with GIs in several jurisdictions around the world.
The presentations by the representatives of the INDECOPI, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), Comité Champagne (CIVC), the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA), as well as the law firms Berenguer&Pomares and Bird&Bird will be followed by a debate. The webinar will be in English and Spanish.
