15/06/2025-#BM2025: Join Us in Morelia for the oriGIn 2025 Biennial Meeting – Register Now!

Join the global GIs community from 8–10 October 2025 at the oriGIn Biennial Meeting in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico—a UNESCO World Heritage site celebrated for its stunning colonial architecture.

Michoacán is rich in cultural and artisanal heritage, home to two officially recognized craft GIs: Cobre Martillado de Santa Clara del Cobre (hammered copper) and Catrinas de Barro de Capula (clay figurines). The region also produces exceptional agri-foods like Cotija cheese and is part of the production areas for three internationally recognized GI spirits: Charanda, Mezcal, and Tequila.

Hosted by Casa de Artesanías de Ocampo, with support from the State of Michoacán, this global gathering will bring together GI stakeholders to exchange insights, strengthen collaboration, and explore new opportunities in the GI landscape.

Join us in Morelia to #Share, #Connect, and #Shape the future of #GeographicalIndications.
