On 14 May, at the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the EU, oriGIn presented in Brussles its 2025 GI trends survey, dedicated to the impact of GIs on tourism. The event organized in collaboration with the Delegation to the EU of the Region Emilia- Romagna, the Consorzio formaggio Parmigiano-Reggiano and the China Europe Association for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CEATEC) took place in Brussels.
The representatives of the China Europe Association for Economic and Technical Cooperation (CEATEC) attend the event from Beijing and present the objectives of the China EU GIs Development Alliance (GIDA).

The oriGIn GI trends survey monitors every year the major trends affecting, and the sentiment of, GIs worldwide. The survey is sent to associations selected with the objective to ensure a wide spectrum of turnover and export figures as well as global representation.
