An unprecedented edition of the oriGIn Expert Meeting – our flagship event dedicated to the latest developments in the GI sector – took place in Geneva on 18–19 June 2026.
This year’s edition, dedicated to “Geographical Indications as a Pillar of Multilateral Cooperation“, served as a powerful reminder that geographical indications remain firmly anchored in the rule of law. It also provided an unparalleled platform for GI groups to connect with and learn from the wider oriGIn community, bringing together representatives from law and technology firms, intellectual property offices, communication agencies, policymaking institutions, universities, and control bodies.
