oriGIn Survey: The economic and social impact of our global GIs network

Dear member,

As this discussed at our last General Assembly, in 2022, oriGIn intends to consolidate its work and services aimed at promoting robust GI protection and strengthening the opportunities to exchange best practices and experiences withing the network.

To achieve this, it is crucial to have updated data on the economic and social impact (turn over at production level, jobs, hectares) of our global GIs network. This information will reinforce our message and identity. This is not supposed to be a one-off exercise, but rather a periodical one, with the objective to keep these figures periodically abreast.

With this in mind, we have prepared the following survey, which we invite you to complete by the 28th of February. An online information session will be organized on February 22nd (from 3 to 4 pm CET) to clarify any doubt and help members respond to the questions. You will soon receive the zoom link.
