Dear Members,
During this unprecedented and challenging times, triggered by the coronavirus (COVID-19), our thoughts and solidarity go out to all those around the world affected by the pandemic.
As health and safety remain our main priorities, we have postponed a number of oriGIn events, including our Forum “Contributing to SDGs through quality linked to geographical origin”, which was supposed to be held in Geneva on 9th and 10th June. We are working on re-scheduling all events which were due in the first part of 2020. We will share new dates and updated information in due course.
Following the modalities indicated in our respective countries, we continue working in defense of Geographical Indications and its corresponding values. As a long term perspective is a fundamental guiding principle of Geographical Indications, we are assured that we will overcome the difficulties of the current emergency, giving way to better days ahead for us.
